Moro de Guandules - Rice and Green Pigeon Peas

Dominican food!




Moro de guandules, is rice and green pigeon peas all together with a mix of herbs and condiments you can add coconut milk if you what and trust me you won't regret it.



Yummy Lasagna!



I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as i did , although it has many steps, is simple if you do it well organized and prepare all your ingredients first hand.



With a simple salad and dinner is ready!



Crepes Crêpe Crepes!

Ingredients

1 Cup all purpose flour
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup of milk
1/2 Cup water
1/4 Teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoon butter, melted
2 Tablespoon of powder sugar*

Step 1
      Mix the flour with the eggs, once you have this together add the milk and water together, stirring to combine, add the salt and butter, beat until smooth. Leave it rest for at least 10 minutes.

Steamed Artichokes



Ingredients



·       4 Garlic 
·       1/2 tsp. Oil olive
·       3 Lemons thin sliced
·       Butter
·       Salt 
·       Pepper
·       2 Bay leaves 
·       1 cup Wine
·       2 cup Chicken broth
·       Water
·       1 Lemon cut in half

Crush the garlic, put the wine, the sliced lemonschicken broth and the oil olive in a pot, add the bay leaves, salt and pepper and water just enough to cover the artichokes, let all that star boiling while cleaning the artichokes.

Put the artichokes to wash with cold water, with a sharp knife cut the stems and the tip of each one. Use scissors to cut the tips of all the leaves. Grabs a lemon cut in half and rubs around the edges so it maintains its green.

Add the artichokes to the boiling water for 30 mints approx.. When you able to   pull one of the leaves without problem then they are ready.



Hopefully they end as cute as Mine :)


For the dipping sauce, grab butter and garlic fined sliced, you can use a saucepan or in the microwave just melt the butter when it star bubbling add the garlic. You will love it. 

Some others dips that you can use is lime juice, or mayo with Italian dressing
